Courtney Housner built a life around collecting rare fragrances.
From a young age, she saw perfume as more than scent. She was drawn to what most overlook, how a single note can hold a moment: where you were, who you were with, what you felt.
Over time, she became drawn to scents that were harder to find. Not the bottles everyone could name. Not the fragrances you smell everywhere. She looked for less accessible scents, the indescribable ones. Compositions with restraint, specificity, and a point of view.
One trip to Iceland made the idea impossible to ignore. She tied a scent to the details of the trip: the energy, the mood, the exact feeling of that moment. It confirmed what she had always believed about scent. It preserves memory.
That experience became the foundation for Tschüss, which Courtney founded in Los Angeles in 2025.
The brand exists to bottle that specific power fragrance has, keeping what would normally disappear.
Tschüss is built around the “before you go” moment. What stays with you before a night ends, before a trip fades, before something becomes memory.
Each creation is composed with intention, to feel less like something worn and more like something remembered.
